Taproom Kitchen Manager

Two Robbers Seltzer Co. is the leading independent hard seltzer and “beyond-beer” company in the Northeast US, and based out of Philly. After launching in 2019 and seeing several years of explosive growth with their beverage business, the company is launching its flagship 4,000 square ft taproom in Fishtown, in the Fall of 2022. It will serve as a multiprogrammatic space with a drink program featuring the brand’s unique hard seltzers, cocktails, and beers; a food menu that will be centered around an incredible smash burger, a retail store, and an art installation featuring an incredible local Philly artist. The company aims to have the space represent a physical manifestation of the creativity that the Two Robbers brand is well known for.

KITCHEN MANAGER

 

- Our Kitchen Manager is instrumental in our day-to-day Back of House operations. As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in the planning, organizing, and training necessary to achieve culinary success in our kitchen. Our Kitchen Managers oversee food production, food quality, labor and food costs, employee hiring and retention, cleanliness and sanitation.

 

- Achieve company objectives in sales, food quality, food presentation, kitchen safety, sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.

 

- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, presentation and serving standards.

 

- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.

 

- Provide timely and constructive feedback and coaching to employees regarding their performance. Ensure both positive and negative performance is documented and communicated accordingly.

 

- Schedule cooks and utility workers as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

 

- Partner with the General Manager in making employment and termination decisions for kitchen staff.

 

- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

 

- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with our receiving policies and procedures.

 

Requirements

 

- At least 1 year of kitchen manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant concept

 

- ServSafe Manger’s Food Handler Certification required

 

- Ability to lead and make decisions using, restaurant management guidelines

 

- Ability to analyze P & L statements and work within a budget

 

- A friendly, approachable attitude and ability to communicate effectively to employees, management and guests

 

- Have a “can-do” attitude, initiative, and the willingness to learn and execute quickly

 

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

 

- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to work with a scheduling, time and attendance and POS system

Head Bartender Position

 

- We are looking for a self-motivated Lead Bartender who will dedicate themself to our brand, ethos and culture at Two Robbers Fishtown.

 

- This candidate must possess a warm and personable approach to service, and most importantly a strong sense of teamwork and empathy. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high quality environment is essential. Prior experience with opening a bar/restaurant is preferred.

 

- Open availability is a must, this is a full time position.

 

Responsibilities

 

- Cocktail making with a high level of attention to detail.

 

- Leading the team of bartenders by example, making sure that bar systems are followed.

 

- Working alongside ownership to assist in recruiting and training staff.

 

- Ordering, maintaining inventory, and setting pars.

 

- Establishing and overseeing prep, cleaning and sanitary protocols for the bar.

 

- Developing new mixed drinks for the menu.

  

Required Skills

 

- Over 2 years bartending experience in a fast paced cocktail bar.

 

- Strong spirits knowledge with a familiarity in local PA distilleries.

 

- Familiarity with draft beer systems and the ability to troubleshoot them.

 

- Proficiency in restaurant software systems is preferred

 

- Can lift up to 50lbs

 

- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

 

- ServSafe Food Handler Certification

 

- RAMP Certification

NYC Area Sales Manager

Two Robbers, one of the fastest growing Hard Seltzer brands on the east coast, is hiring in NYC! We are looking to add experienced sales professionals to our team who are entrepreneurially minded, have a passion for launching and growing high quality brands, and who want to help shape the future of a young and exciting company. 

 

At Two Robbers, we only do seltzers. We spent over a year perfecting our hard seltzer brewing process to create a light and refreshing beverage without the added sugars, sweeteners, concentrates, and complex ingredients we so often see in other drinks. The result is a one-of-a-kind hard seltzer with subtle and unique flavors inspired by some of our favorite cocktails and craft beers.

 

Primary responsibilities of the position include:


- Daily on-premise and off-premise account relationship management

 

- Regular account visits to existing and new accounts

 

- Regular sales calls to existing and new accounts

 

- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key managers/buyers at target accounts

 

- Track and monitor progress with accounts

 

- Ensure proper merchandising of Two Robbers at on and off premise accounts

  

- Create, Schedule, and Execute off-premise samplings, on-premise events & programming, festivals, and wholesaler work-withs

  

- Establish weekly target account lists and sales goals, and ability to achieve and execute on such goals

 

- Maintain constant communication with Two Robbers team and wholesaler representatives

 

- Effectively manage multiple distributors across the state

 

- Ability to “wear multiple hats,” including completion of administrative tasks, expense reporting, budget management, etc.

 

- Engage, instruct, and inspire consumers about the brand

 

- Embrace and represent Two Robbers’ values, purpose, and brand-identity at all times

 

- Reports to Sales DirectorMust be available to work weeknights and weekends as required


Experience / Qualifications / Requirements:
 

- 3-5+ Years of Beverage Industry Sales with a supplier or distributor is required

 

- Bachelors Degree required

 

- Prior experience with VIP and KARMA softwares

 

- Must be currently living in New York City

 

- Strong knowledge of the NYC market including existing relationships with accounts

 

- Physical demands include ability to frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds or more

 

- Reliable car, valid drivers license, and clean driving record

Compensation:

 

Compensation will be highly competitive with industry / market rates and will be experience-dependent. Will include a base salary, performance-based bonuses, expense stipends, and a strong benefits package.
